When two people imagine the same thing around the same moment, that’s synchronicity, isn’t it ? I’ve just found via craft magazine this creation that is exactly the bag I wanted to make this summer, with red closing ribbons… I still find hard to believe someone – her name is Jek – has done it

Est-il bien possible que quelqu’un (elle s’appelle Jek) puisse avoir fait exactement ce que j’avais imaginé, avec le même lien rouge de surcroît ???

I would love to see what your bag looks like? Was it going to be for the market or for pretty things? You know, I find the magic of synchronicity happens to me ALL THE TIME but usually it is me kicking myself for not making it when I first thought of it. This world of ours is so vast, yet so small. How wonderful it is!

The thing is I just got the fabrics and planned to make it during my vacation. I hadn’t thought about using vintage doilies so I had to crochet the bottom myself. That took time and I left it at that stage.
I hadn’t thought for any special use of it… I always carry small bags in my handbag and suitcases so that all the little things can be found easily. I should finish it for sure !
